Plurk Apps for Adobe Air

Posted on 24. Jun, 2008 by John in Plurk, Plurk Apps

Probably the most requested feature for Plurk when it came on the scene, and something that Pownce got right at the launch was the release of a desktop client.

Now you have 2 to choose from, the first one made by The Inquisitr and is called PlurkAir

The Second one is called PlurkIt from TwisterMc

Plurk on Adobe Air

Both look the same as they are not based on the Plurk API, but instead have embedded the Plurk mobile platform into an Air application. More applications will be to follow no doubt, but either one of these should satisfy your needs for the time being.

I think what we will end up having is a desktop littered with a shed load of Air apps, what we could do with is an application for sites like ping.fm, or Twhirl to integrate more services so you can send 1 message and it will update all your accounts.
