TweetDeck is an awesome looking Adobe Air desktop application that is currently in private beta, so we can’t have a peek just yet but It’s main aim is to change the existing functionality of Twitter by taking twitter feeds, and breaking them down into bite sized pieces. The application gives the user the option to split down their main twitter feeds into topics or groups, giving you a better overview of your tweets.
The GROUP, SEARCH and REPLIES buttons then allow the user to make up additional columns populated from the database. Once created these additional columns will automatically update allowing the user to keep track of a twitter threads far easier.
Another really good feature is that this application has an offline function allowing you to tweet when Twitter is down or you are not near a wi-fi connection, for more information on when this is due for public release follow @tweetdeck on twitter, although they did say they were aiming for public beta launch this week, in a previous tweek.
