Twitter gets an Awards Ceremony The Twitties
Has a tweet ever made you laugh?, cry?, puke? touched your soul or any other part of your anatomy for that matter? well now you can vote for your favorite tweet for 2008 in a new awards site called the Twitties, where you can vote for the most interesting twists on 140 characters.
Twitterers have been tweeting for over a year.
And there are some 140-character masterpieces out there. Since most of us have real jobs and can’t sit around all day watching worldwide Tweets fly by, we thought we’d do the next best thing – get other people to do the heavy lifting for us. In the best Tom Sawyer tradition, we supply the fence and you do the work. And at the end, you get to judge your work. So get painting… or nominating.
