OSX Dashboard Widget for ping.fm

Not quite an Air app (yet) but we’re getting closer. This little application called pingboard is only for you Apple OSX users out there and is a small application for your dash that lets you post through ping.fm, which if you don’t know is a service that will let you post to all your social services in one hit. Here are some of the current features for PingBoard;

  • It’s a Dashboard widget, so it has that going for it
  • Allows all types of posting, including custom triggers
  • Keeps a message history, which you can edit and re-post in case of error or lack of creativity
  • Has both a front and a back, and a previously only theorized third side for error messages
  • Is not unnecessarily attractive, to discourage frivolous posting.
  • Multiple account support (one per widget instance)

and here are some screenshots;

Showing multiple instances on a single Dashboard, for the bifurcated of personality:

To get your hands on this little dash app you can find the latest source code here and the developer @aquaman73 is asking for anyone interested in doing an air application.
