updating.me just got interesting

I’ve been following updating.me for a short while now, and was thinking about trying it out after it came out of beta, until today. The site is along the same lines as ping.fm and updates all your social services in one go such as Twitter, FriendFeed, Plurk, Identi.ca, Rejaw and also supports less mainstream platforms such as Leo Laports Twit Army and Koornk.
The thing that makes updating.me stand out from the rest of the crowd at the moment, is that they have listened to what people are requesting and have released a desktop Adobe Air client.
Now you can update all your social networks from the comfort of your desktop with this simple application, they have also added the functionality to easily add photo’s to your updates by simply dragging an image from your desktop onto the app and uploading it.
If you want to try the service I have 55 invites available just use the beta code tweetcrunch and you will be able to sign-up.
